Dear Bloggy,

School is doing well, although it is tough, and the weather is hot as a googling moogle. Studio has been so intense it's crazy, although it's always nice to know that I am trying my best. Sigh. I've had little sleep (my fault), and I think I have like eight knots in my shoulders.

Here's a dilemma partly resolved: studio. Excellent to be working hard at something you really care about and enjoy. I think college, school-wise, finally starting to get challenging. I mean, I would like to reach as close as I can to full potential in art. All those social, humanities, sciences ... they're interesting as side endeavors and always contribute to my purpose, but I think school is starting to hone that thing I think I was born to do. You know. Create food for the eyes, some thought for the mind, hopefully.

But, phooey, why does it have to be in such hot weather?

SFMOMA has a nice design exhibit going on the 2nd floor. There are some nice renderings there ... with enamel, air brush, colored sticky back ... damn, if only I was working for a loaded firm, the media I would use!

Enough nerdiness. Time to eat a popsicle.

Sincerely,
jeanie <3

ps: siqi and i were going to heist the giant stop sign that fell on its side at Solano and Pierce, but it was still bolted to the ground. Rats! There goes some pop art that could have been sitting pretty in our living room. Does anyone have a heavy duty soldering iron/chainsaw? mmm ... jasper johns ... roy lichtenstein ... rauschenberg ... -eyes glaze over-
