My 'Spring Recess' has been as fragmented as my memory of it. :-] It started off with a long drive down to La Canada (Eric's house), throw in a bunch of guys, military dudes, ladies (including trang, who i've missed dearly), crown royale, a stripper, peach body lotion, digital cameras, js bach on a grand piano, cigars, and pho at chinatown, and there's that weekend. Oh yes, the numerous stops on the drive back up I-5 in a search for chicken nuggets. Gosh, that drive is so painfully dull. I swear I played the Weezer blue album like 4 times.

Then, I went back home to Roseville for a few days with Siqi. Ruby's great, still alive and cute as ever, though shaky after Siqi tried to see if she could swim by dangling her over the pool. Siqi and I shared some nice talks about some subjects such as the new house, drunken boyfriends, babies, Chinese ideologies and hostess bars (while shoveling dirt), financial stability, and on and on. This is what my mom said on the subject of marriage: "It's hard to find a chicken with three legs, but men with two legs are plenty." Thanks, mom. I love going back home, even though my dad never has time to talk to me, it's nice to go back to a part of the world that's a reminder of the stability of my parents...a real house with tough, concrete foundation. I also started sorting all my old college papers.

There was a plan to go down to Santa Cruz and see Kevin's dad's new puppies, but that didn't pan out, and Ro and I went out with his friends on Friday night (Ben's hat is actually NOT a trucker hat). I think for sure I will be going abroad within the next two years; I'll give you a hint: i'll be staying within the Pacific Rim ... The next day, I bought like five magazines: C'est Moi (a ultra poshy Taiwanese fashion mag), Monday (a Hong Kong mag with lots of soccer pullouts and Louis Vuitton, mp3 player reviews: a scan of HK pop culture), Giant Robot, Hacker's Quarterly, and Harper's. Yeah ... so I was supposed to just buy the book I need to read for ED 100, but alas! I'm looking for a French fashion mag whose layout I really love called, I believe, ... L'Official. Mayhaps I will check Cody's. Tata!
