I look at my well made bed, and just the sight of it makes me happy somehow. It's like seeing a smooth bedspread and comforter neatly aligned with the bedframe, upper edge tucked over against the pillows, demonstrates how good and simple life can be. Bobbi, my stuffed magical creature animal, lies between the pillows, and my teal Aesthetics cap dangles from one corner of the headboard. I want to just jump in and wiggle and curl over and fall into a quiet slumber and think of you as my body rests.
