ok, this is a question for all you people who buy hard-to-get show tickets in advance and sell them for profit.
i have two tickets for a private screening of matthew barney and bjork's "drawing restraint" which is playing april 26 at 11:30 pm in san francisco, but turns out i can't make it. tickets to this show are only open to people with san francisco film society memberships. should i sell them on craigslist? should i sell them before the show at the theatre? and how much?!!
or should i just be sweet and sell them to friends at reduced market rate ... :p
OR SHOULD I ABSOLUTELY TRY TO MAKE THE SHOW BECAUSE IT'S SIMPLY NOT TO BE MISSED?

selling them on craigslist could potentially give off the wrong impression if ever your film society buddies caught wind of it.
if these tix were mine, i'd offer it to friends who might be able to understand it. it's always good to expose them to more art films so long as they're able to handle it. that is, unless, the movie is wildly exploratory and could potentially turn them off of artsy flicks in general.

First off, you absolutely should try to make the show, at least if Bjork is going to be there. Will she be there? Otherwise, don't sell them for a profit, sell them at cost to whomever you want, prefereably a friend who would appreciate it.
