Holy MOLY! I just got back from the Yo La Tengo concert at the Fillmore ... holy MOLY, they are such great performers ... they did eight encores, including Damage, Cherry Chapstick, and Oklahoma, USA last. Other songs in the actual set included Georgia, How to Make a Baby Elephant Float, Nuclear War, Decorum, You Can Have It All, Deeper Into Movies, Let's Be Still, ... Little Eyes. They also did one Kinks and one Who post encore. Sigh. What drumming! What strumming! What riffs! What melodies! What voices! -- All of them.
