Hungry

Confidence is tied to my words. Don't believe in my words, don't believe in myself. There's been a dearth of good literature inside me for such a long time. I'm dying for some words. Words. Words. Words.

dear jean

I love 4 things of your blog:
-that picture of you that it seems to be a dior one
-that haiku of your new home
-the article of R. Spencer about the situation at Beijing
-& this post that I don't understand if it is yours or is part from another

I live in Mexico and haven't take english lessons since I was kid, so I hope I haven't forget how to write it because, obviously, I understand it while reading but surely have mistakes while writing.

Blogs in Mexico are so confidencial, so boring, people always tal about love, about night life, about music, so that´s why your blog fascinated me because it is completely out of my daily readings.

I don't know how I get here but I'm here, reading about architecture, fashion, music, about your life and of course it's irresistible to compare writings, to compare contents, that's why I want to tell you that I had a good time reading you, it would be nice if in spanish there were more blogs like yours: so global, so well manufacturated (or something like that, I notice that I have forgot some words that could be better than these) the way you use internet it's not common here in Mexico, I supposed in countries like USA it's different.

Grateful writing. See ya the next time.

wow, i asked for words, and i got words! (i didn't know that i could speak into the great void and get a reply so quickly haha).

thanks so much, alberto. that's probably the lengthiest comment i've gotten on this blog! it makes me happy to know that you enjoy it. but, i wish i could read your blog as well as you can read mine. as for boring blogs ... it probably doesn't have to do with mexico or US, but that your tastes are out of ordinary. :)

bruce -- really? that teddy bear looks pretty pathetic to me! :(

That car is a concept car and was never actually produced. They made a sedan though from 1963-1979 and made a bunch of them. It is Skoda 1000MB or 1100MB - depending on the cc. Made in Czechoslovakia - where I was born. MB stands for Mlada Boleslav where it was made, but people have substituted it for Malych Bolesti - Little Pains (in Genitivum) and called the car a thousand little pains - 1000MB :-) Why am I telling you? Because I'm so freaking surprised to see this on a computer in my living room here in Michigan just clicking on "Next Blog."
